Chapter 1: Rocky’s Big Idea
Once upon a time, in a forest full of towering trees and sparkling streams, there lived a mischievous little raccoon named Rocky. Rocky loved to explore the woods and discover all the fun things each day had to offer. But one bright morning, something different happened. Rocky stood there, his paws on his hips, a little confused at first. But then, the realization hit him like a warm breeze. He had been so focused on thanking others, he had forgotten to thank himself for all the adventures he had, for being brave, and for always caring about his friends.
“Oh!” Rocky exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. “I forgot to thank ME!” And with a grin, he gave himself a big hug. “Thank you, Rocky, for being the best adventurer and friend I could be!”
Lila chuckled and perched on a nearby branch. “Sometimes, Rocky, it’s important to remember to be grateful for yourself too. You do a lot for others, and it’s okay to show yourself a little love.”
Chapter 6: A Grateful Goodbye
As the stars began to twinkle in the sky, Rocky and Lila sat together on a large rock by the stream. Rocky looked up at the shimmering stars and whispered, “You know what, Lila? Saying thank you makes me feel even happier than before. I’m lucky to have so many wonderful friends, and I’m lucky to be me!”
Lila nodded, wrapping her wings around herself like a cozy blanket. “And I feel lucky to have you, Rocky. You always make the world brighter.”
As they sat there under the moonlit sky, Rocky and Lila waved goodnight to the stars, to the trees, and to all the creatures of the forest. They knew that every day was a good day to feel thankful.
